    Nick began working as a session guitarist in the early 1990s, gigging and recording in various Soul, Jazz and Rock bands. Over the last three decades, he has toured the UK regularly playing venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Band On The Wall and small and large theatres from Aberdeen to Truro.
    
    In November 2002 Nick won Guitarist Magazine’s ‘Guitarist of The Year’ judged by Guthrie Govan. He has since appeared onstage as guitarist for and with Don Felder (The Eagles), Tony Christie, John Miles, Richard Fleeshman and Kerry Ellis.
    
    He currently divides his time between gigging, writing guitar books and teaching guitar both privately and at Salford University. Nick gigs with a number of bands including Nearly Dan, ‘Both Sides Now’, a Joni Mitchell Tribute and ‘Swing Easy’, an acoustic jazz trio.
    
    Nick is the author of ‘100 Jazz-Rock Fusion Licks For Guitar’, which will be published by the Fundamental Changes/Amazon series of guitar books in early 2024.
