Do you rehearse a lot? actually we only get together to rehearse when were learning new songs
for the set or working in a new musician. The band members are expected to be up to speed
with the material or run the risk of getting the dreaded Steve Hayes scowl!

Do you need a (fill in appropriate instrument) one of the great pleasures is meeting up with other like minded musicians. We have a core band but occasionally the logistics of getting ten busy players together means we do need stand in players. So if you're up for it, get in touch.

Who's idea was it? As I remember it was Pete’s idea. It sort of grew out of the 5 piece band
“The Baldwins Casuals.” We played a whole range of material- Ray Charles, Sting, Robben Ford etc
as well as Steely Dan.

Are you available for a private party? Yes we are, although largely dependent on dates, circumstances and distance etc.

Will you be playing in our area? Well we try to get about as much as we can. If you think there
is a venue we should play, please get in touch with us and we will contact them.

How did you work out the chords and horn charts? All by ear really. Some of the song books are better than others as a reference for the chords. However, the brass parts are painstakingly worked out on the piano, played into an ancient Roland mc.300 sequencer, transferred over to computer to do the transposition Into brass keys and finally printed out for the brass section to throw in the bin !!

Do we need tickets? Check with the venues on this. Smaller places do tend to sell out. Also,
check the show start time. As a general rule, if it is a theatre gig, the show starts at 8pm.
Alternatively if it's a club, it's usually around the 9pm mark.

Have you met Don+Walt yet? Sadly not yet, but we’ve met a few people along the way who have. Have you ? If so, get in touch and tell us your story.

Was there gas in the car? Yes there’s .... No I can't do it....

Can our band support you? The band usually do two long sets, so we tend not to have support acts.
